Hi all
I wouldn't normally post this here but I don't seem to have any other options and the wanted section can be kind of "overlooked"

My water chamber inside my chiller has cracked and therefore, chiller not working.

I wanted to know if anyone has an old unit that is broken that might have this part.

Apparently the suppliers don't carry spares and I have tried a local guy though the Lfs but no luck
so my other option is to try and reseal it with epoxy glue and fibre mesh which is next in line unless I can source one here

Obviously first prize would be a find replacement
I am going to be taking the chamber out later so will post a pic ASAP
Any advice or assistance always appreciated
Thanks

I am not too clued up on the pieces , I know if you open the front section open, there is a chamber on the left ,quite a broad which has a crack in.
Will take a pic just now

Not sure if this helps but this is the cracked section

Tried to strip the chiller down and managed to get the covers off
Section that is cracked destiny seem to come apart from the chiller
All the copper pipes joining the section seem to be pretty tight and didn't want to force anything

Here is an exploded diagram from the internet
I am need part 22 which is the water tank but I couldn't take it apart from the rest of the unit

What material is the tank made of? Can you post a better pic

@saaid - it's pretty difficult to get a proper picture , here is pic off the net

The crack is on the chamber on the left side, inside panel

Can you not get an Alcolin product to seal it? Looks like a type of plastic.

Shouldn't be any pressure inside, water just passing through and being cooled by the evaporator.

That was my plan - problem
Is I cannot get the chamber loose to have a proper look.
From the diagram there are 5 fittings to the chamber
Water in and out are easy to get loose , thermocouple is also easy.
There is a fitting to the co sensor and to the compressor that I cannot get loose and this is the problem. I don't want to force anything either

Don't loosen up any pipes. Gas will escape then its more $$$ fix and refill.

Tank is 2 pieces bonded together? Top and bottom half

Was searching now.

See they have a product called quickplastic.

Not too clued up on chillers but if I stop this from leaking will the chiller work okay ?
Or is there something inside that could be damaged ?
I don't need to run it under any pressure if need be

It will work yes. Make sure pipes from the compressor to the evaporator are not damaged.

Apply Tangit thickly upon the crack and let it dry for 24hours. Helped me when my hailea tank popped. No leaks in the following 2 years of use
