What to collect in Port Edward

caught a juvenile Coris Formosa at the mainbeach 2 years ago. Spring lows walk north from the main beach over the river. For the next km you will find wall to wall rock pools. Plenty specimens. The plumb anemones i would not touch. Lots of purple and brown anthelia.

Hi guys,
I'm going home tomorrow morning (damn.....):( ....
I've got some anthelia (ping) and some zoas - no fish.

Some questions:
1. anthelia - how do i get this to grow on my rocks? must this be tied to my rocks, or glued..?
2. I want to get some sand (wet sand with creatures in) back home as well - how is the best way of doing this?

are there enough oxycen in - it's a couple of hours of drive...
Must it be all sand, or half water in as well?

i would put 2/3 sand 1/3 water. with the zoo's just chuck them all in a coke bottle.
maybe go and get a 5l water container then a can take more sand home?

you could also take some extra water and change half of the water with fresh water if things dont look great.

Were you not able to find any attached to a rock. A couple toothpicks should do the job. Little worried tho if you had to scrap it off.

1. Toothpicks? - how can i use this?
2. Why would you say it's a problem if one scrap it off?

just poke it straight through with the toothpick
