What did you do for your tank?

hmmm. Cleaned the front glass... that's it.
Watched the clowns laying eggs.
 
Cleaned front glass.
Cleaned skimmers.
Topped up RO water.
Tried to hand feed my Moray again, and succeeded this time.
 
Was a busy weekend -

Harvested gha
Checked all parameters
Attempted to fix some wiring issues
Replaced filter socks
Stirred up substrate
Replaced phosphate media
Moved a few corals around
Thought about doing a waterchange
Mopped floor
 
Installed float swich for DIY ATU
Fiddled with overflow, tank over flow and wet floor
Mopped the floor dry.
Bought some fish
Manually topped up RO in other tank.

I was thinking of sharing some of the GHA I had with you after my weekly harvest @459b but seeing as you also harvested ...

Is there anybody else who wants some ... FREE OF CHARGE

Cursing at my lights, fighting with the lights. Giving up on the lights. Then ate food to calm me down.
 
This weekend was my sons birthday. Took him and couple of his friends to Zwartkops raceway to check out the Historic Tour. Great day and a lot of old and interesting cars.
Third weekend in a row where I basically done nothing on my tank. :thumbup:
Except cleaning the front panel and emptying the skimmer cup.
 
Was away this weekend so did nothing. Just cleaned the glass yesterday.
 
Tested parameters, 40 litre waterchange, syphoned out some substrate n detritus n cleaned glass. Corals looking happy today

Topped up the calcium reactor, added np pallets to the reactor, cleaned the 2 x protean skimmers and cleaned the front glass.

This weekend I'm planning to replace a fuse on plug bar. Kiss my fish, and curse my lights again.
 
I plan to wire up my Reef Angel, re-hang my lights, and setup dosers...
 
Put my back into it this morning

1. Cleaned glass.
2. Cleaned sump.
3. Snipped and fragged a few dead SPS.
4. Mounted a few loose SPS.
5. Topped up RO
6. 25l water change.
7. Stirred sand bed.
8. Scraped Coralline off back glass.
9. Rearranged pumps.
10. Realized I am now out of RO to mix CA and Alk.

By the way, the above is not in order :p

Changed carbon

Did a 25l water change
Setup a running 14L med tank next to the sump so I can QT in copper.
Found out the possible reason why my nitrates and phosphates went up.
Cleaned out reactor
Will wait for some Go Aquria np pellets from @Aquaria-SA to arrive.
Topped up nano while it's cycling
Cleaned around the sump area.

First weekend in a month I do something of note.

Moved the livestock corals and rocks that was in quarantine tank to a nano. Thanks @Franna for helping :thumbup:. Nano is @Gesiggie system, keeping it for her until year end. She had to break it down due to all the power outages in Potchefstroom. Nice little system. Will see year-end what will happen to this system.

Did 200L water change on my main display system.
Siphoned detritus settlement of the main / first DSB
Did 100L water change on the holding tank.
Did 100L also on the quarantine tank. Removed all the bioballs in the sump and cleaned that chamber completely of detritus.
Started setting up a 90L Daro tank for freshwater for my youngest son, actually he did most of the work. He want a tank, so it must be his job. :biggrin:
