use of nopox with purigen phosguard

No issues to use it together. Unless you seriously "overdose" on the phosguard, which can render nopx less effective at NO3 "removal?" As bacteria need both no3 and po4 to assimilate eier or ;)
Not sure what purigen phosguard is though. Afaik they purigen polishes water and removes organics and phosguard binds phosphates.

Its, not a problem. I do know that redsea don't really advocate using any PO4 remover with NOPOX as this skews the redfield ratio which makes the removal of NO3 take longer, but they don't say stay completely away.
 
I use the three in my RSM 250. Never had issues.

I have placed the Purigen in a stocking as well as the Phosguard in another stocking- both in JNS Reactor.

I dose Nopox as and when required.

size of tank

What is a good size tank. I have jewel 180.Do u recommend uv sterilizer or is it a money spinner?
