I baught a few kg of live rock 2 weeks ago with allot of caulerpa on it and when I put the rocks into the tank I noticed a small yellowish anenome on it! I only had chance to take a photo today so here it goes...

It's foot is yellow with red spots and the crown is whitish yellow and a huge mouth!!! I've never kept nennies and never had the intensions to keep them but seeing that I have one I thaught that I just can't let the thing die so any info on how to care for it... Is it a danger to any inhabatintss of the tank maybe?

My biggest problem is that my tank is still mostly in cycle and I read that nennies need exelent water quility and lighting.

Any info would be apreciated
Thanx:thumbup:

Hi Annoying - this too is family of the "Rock flower anemone" kind.... just feed the nemmie a small (less than 1cm) piece of meaty food (ie. pink shrimp, small piece of mussel meat, of a small piece of freshly frozen hake).... Feed the nemmie twice a week in the beginning, then, once the nemmie has regained it's coloration, once a week....
