You have to check out Ogles’ newest Gallery demonstrating a crop of images which very clearly blow away what was possible back in 2005, when the first Mesoscope was launched. Like never before, it is now possible to get all natrualist on your reef tank and nurture your inner David Attenborough to go on a safari in the ecosystem you’ve created. Or someone else’s tank, either way, no matter how long you’ve been staring at mini reefs and nano reefs you are bound to see and discover new things.

The 5MP C-Mount camera is available to*frolic*with your new mesoscope for*£225*($334) and can be picked up in the Ogles Store.

?C – Mount Cameras have been developed for use with microscopes in the demanding world of medicinal clinical studies and research, the CMOS sensor size and sensitivity make them ideal for capturing images of small objects in low light.

When you’re viewing or imaging at this magnification depth of field become very shallow, usually a few millimetres, because the Ogle is securely attached to*the tank it is easy to*focus precisely on your subject and without the image shake normally associated with this magnification*. Another advantage of using a C – Mount Camera is the live preview image of the subject on your computer, giving you*precise control over focusing*and allowing you to capture the finest detail.

With CMOS cameras the camera control software is built into the imaging chip, this means you can also fine tune the camera parameters while you are observing a live image, allowing you to capture the best pictures.

Totally overpriced if you ask me!
You can get the new go-pro with underwater housing & remote for cheaper than that!
