oky i know i have been off for some time now. i think most people know that i tend to get really busy at times and dont make a lot of time for other things.. but a little good news.. i did get the upgrade that i was talking about. nice 300ltr corner system. its not looking to good at the moment as i did not really have a lot of time on my hands to attend to it. so please dont bash my head in. also. the tank is running sumpless at the moment until i can get to the leak at the back corner by the overflow.















well this is all i have for now. will be doing some work on the tank over the weekend and as soon as everything is nice and clean again i will be adding some more coral and fish.

@butcherman I am hoping to go mixed reef on this one. first have to get the proper lights as i fear the ones that i currently have will not suffice. also add a few blue green chromis, couple of goldies and a tang or 2.

that my good man is the truth. i can see some of the GHA already dying of. so lets hope it clears up in about a week or 2. as soon as i have the sump up and running i will have it back to where my previous system was

I threw some purigen in my tiny nano and the gha that was starting just withered away.

Blowing off the rocks once a week with a turkey baster is also a good idea

@Fishy Steve i have thought about using a turkey baster but at the moment my flow pumps are taking care of keeping them nice and clean. at the moment it is just phosphates leeching out of the rock. with a couple of water changes and my Orca bio cubes starting to work. i can say that i have a good feeling that i will be good in 2 or so weeks

oky some good news. on Friday i will start emptying the tank with the help of @Pendragon then just move it smidge to get to the leak silicone the bad boy up and do the last bit of plumbing and then i should be good to go.
