Just to confirm, if i want coraline algae growth, do i need to use aquarium light or will normal energy saver do the trick. Also if i find nice hitch hikers corals will the normal energy savers work?? (I think not as it requires special lights?)

For coraline algae growth and coral, I would use aquarium lighting that is designed to handle the coral you are keeping.
