Hi Guys

I want to modify my sump and remove one of the dividers to make my dsb bigger.
Thing is the tank is running.
What is the best way to cut it out while it's running.
Will a Stanley blade affect the water?

No Just clean it with alcohol to remove the oil from the blade before you use it in your sump.

Ive used a stanley blade successfully without draining the water. Just be careful and not
cut yourself. Also give it a rinse under water as they do put a think layer of oil on these blades. Also dont submerge the stanley knife under water. Only use the blade. You can also use the fishing wire method as per the suggestion above.

break a minora blade in half , then insert it between the glass and divider , use two chop sticks , one on each side of the divider to push the blade all the way down to the bottom , push the divider to the left and slice the bottom right with Stanley or scraper blade , push to the right and cut the left hand bottom seal , pull gently should pop right out

ps chopsticks is so you don't cut your fingers ,short wooden dowels would also work
