Hi guys,

Some info on the regal tang please..

Its taking flakes, but what else? I heard about nori?? What's nori? Where can I get some, and how do I feed it? Anything else about a regal I should know. Please advise..

I've got my guy now for almost 2 years and it eats just about anything that i drop in. Loves nori, mysis & artemia brine shrimp, also chomps on the mussel that i put in for the triggers

My tang eats anything I throw in there like a pig but he has just started eating nori. He never looked at it before

Is there a particular way to feed it nori? Do I have to cut it into little pieces? How often does it need to be fed?

you can get a special clip for it from the LFS, however I just tear off a strip and stick it in the algae magnet. My tangs go through it in 5 min flat, they're both pigs and very fat

What i used to do with nori is just put it on a small rock with an elastic band around it

try krill or brime shrimp as well (frozen foods). Mine love it. Nori is good. Try to get uncooked from your local LPS with garlic in.

Incidently, just get the nori from Asian supermarkets. It's a fraction of the price of the nori sold by fish product companies and it's exactly the same thing.
