Hi i bought a marine tank a month or so ago and have stocked it with a few corals and fish, one of the products given to me by the seller was this reef success calk please could someone tell me when and how to you it i have had conflicting stories about this product?

It's basically an all in one additive to maintain both Calcium and Carbonate. It's not on Red Sea's website anymore so may be a discontinued product.
According to marinedepot.com it has been discontinued. It has most likely been replaced by Red Seas new Reef Foundation range of products which is a 2 part system for Ca and Alk, Reef Foundation A and B.
Its just kalkwasser, probably expired some time ago. Just google kalkwasser / calcium hyroxide, if you choose to use it, get bp grade from a pharmacy, its dirt cheap, but be careful, very caustic, can spike pH if used incorrectly.
