hi guys, 2day i saw pearl coral and meat coral.
the guy at the LFS said they were hardy but i'm a bit unsure of that...
has anone got experience with these corals?
just looking for inforamtion on them to see if its a good idea for me to get either of them. :63:

If the pearl coral is this one Pearl Coral, Bubble Coral, Plerogyra flexuosa ,
then yes, it is very hardy.

It needs low flow and will appreciate medium light.

Meat coral might be any of at least 3 different corals, you don't perhaps have a scientific name for it? They are normally hardy and prefer the same conditions as the pearl. Depending on the exact species, it might do better on the sand or fine gravel(crushed coral or aragonite)

that the one. cool good to hear :)
thanx cybervic. will do some thinking about getting it. just looked at my bank balance and this month i wont be able to afford it.

the meat coral is beautiful, vey colourful. dont have a name for it tho... maybe next time i go thru to the shop i'll ask for the scientific name.
