Just when we thought we’d seen just about every iteration, aberration and permutations of the way that coral beauty angelfish can get funky, one comes along with a while new swag. Whereas many of the aberrant coral beauty angelfish look like mistakes were made on the basic blueprint coloration, this little guy living at Abyss Aquatics in the UK seems to have pretty much abandoned the guidelines for its species and done its own thing.*

If it wasn’t for the classic shape and very slight patterning of the flanks we wouldn’t even be able to tell that this specimen is a*Centropyge bispinosa coral beauty. Although this freak probably looks less appealing to casual angelfish fans, if this coral beauty’s color darkens in the body and brightens in the fins lookout because we might have a coral beauty*on fire!*Even with so many forms of coral beauty angelfish being discovered in the ocean and the aquarium, this “flame-fin” coral beauty manages to stand out.

In some cases the coral beauty may nearly completely revert its coloration back to normal but this UK-naturalized coral beauty is so far from the color script that we doubt it will be able to find its way back, and in fact with a good diet the yellow fins and face could develop even brighter coloration.*Priced at*£1299 or about $2050 this aberrant coral beauty will not be going home with just anyone but with conspicuous and interruptus angelfish as its*neighbors*we have faith that Abyss Aquatics has the clientelle to appreciate such a special little fish.
