Hello,I have a 8x2x2 tank and i like leather corals, can anyone tell me how big a leather can grow, will it stop, or just keep growing it is a good size now.many thanks shrimpman.
My largest one is about 450mm high, it's base (foot) is about 250mm in diameter, and it's head is between 500mm and 600mm in diameter. When I got it some 8-9 years ago, it measured about 100mm high, with a head of about 100mm in diameter.
I don't think so - as long as you have enough space, and the water quality and lights are good enough.
This is, of course, not really a problem. You can always frag it, either into little pieces, or by just trimming the head into a smaller shape by cutting off the outer part. Nice thing about this is that you can then sell/swap or give away the unwanted frags.
