Johan's Slice of the Ocean

Very nice...just want to know if your nennies also lost their green on the inside since it split. ..???

I dont think my nennie ever had green on the inside. Maybe thats a different type?

Interestingly, I waited weeks for my clowns to host the nennie. On the same day it split, the clowns started hosting it.

Awesome tank!! :thumbup1:
my planned tank is a similar size. Does the nw150 skimmer work well?

Tell us more about your system. What husbandry is involved, TSV, Sump size?

Some updated photos. Lots of anemone and kenia tree growth.

Since I added my Maxspect light the GHA I had has quickly died off. This has resulted in a nitrate and phosphate problem, so that is what I'm working on at the moment.

I have noticed the first copepods as well this week so that's great. The tank is now about 7 months old.

I have added 1L of biocubes about a month ago but have yet to start seeing the effect. I still have to tune my skimmer a lot every time I clean the cup and this might not help with my nitrates.

anyways here's the photos:

I agree with Riaan bud. I did the same as you and turned my heater. It saved me some money on power
Tank is really looking good.

Thought it was about time for an update:
As few pics attached.

Thought I'd go full out mixed reef with softies, LPS, SPS and NPS. Working okay so far.
Got to keep my nutrients in a specific range, currently parameters at:

NO3 - 2
PO4 - 0.05
Kh - 8.6 dkH
Mg - 1320
Ca - 400

Using two part and Mg suppliment with a doser. Also dosing Iodide now and then.
