JD's little Reef - Take 2

JD...That sucks...I do hope that you do come right...Just by looking at the stand, whr you made the red oval mark, i see what you mean...But do you not think that the stand needs more bracing to support the tanks weight...?
 
I thought about it, and they did put in more support in the corners. I based this design on the same as my other tank stand which is also a 1.5m. The new one actually has more bracing.
 
JD - have you never considered using a wood stand? I know mine is probably not the MOST elegant stand out - but, my 2 wooden workbenches from Builder's Warehouse is EXTREMELY strong, and have NEVER let me down!
 
Hey Jacques. I have actually thought about it yea. I'm just a little worried that spilled salt water can make the wood a little weak. They do look nice and strong though. I'll go check them out again this weekend.
