I bought a piece of Life Rock some months ago and was told there was a small piece of sponge on it.
They said it would die anyway due to exposure to air, light and the amount of nutrients & flow in my sump.
Is this perhaps that sponge or something else (slime, fungus, algae)? Tried to research it a bit but no nail on the head info.
