Help diy compact flourescent!

Hi guyz. Need to diy a compact flourescent unit for an 18w 50/50 globe. Seems to b my best option for lighting a tiny tank. I have the globe, what do i nd in terms of ballast, globeholders, fuses etc and where cn i get the stuff. Any try this b4?

Thanx johan. Exactly what i needed. U wouldnt perhaps knw where i could get the 4 pin lampholders frm. Guys at builders have no clue. N what kind of ballast do i need?
