funky old reef mud

i have been using saltwater taken from melkbostrnd for a while, i haventt treated it in any special way, doing 10percent water change every week. maybe i am lucky but i dont have any ill effects, i supplement with funky old reef mud, calcium cloride and carbonate, and bicarbonate.
