I am feeling a little confused with the filter methodology.
There is the Refugium with nitrate filter and the other "goodies" which go with it, then one has the DSB, an ATS fits onto both of them as an additionl item - I understant currently that it really has little bearing on either systems, I am looking at an option in the near future of going with a combination of the two systems...
The question is how does one know which system is better for you? What sways a persons decision to get done with any confusion and just "go down that road" and use that filtration method opposed to the other?
Is it possible to decribe the differences, or explain the differences rather in a short form which becomes understandable for someone like myself who has the very basic understanding of both but not enough knowledge to be able to decide which way is the way for me.
