David's reef tank

So i reduced my lighting period from 6:00 -19:00 to 6:00-15:00.
Been using kalkwasser to boost ph.
Tank is looking a lot better but there is still signs of dinoflagellates growing at a much slower rate.

On a positive note i discovered my 2 peperments shrimps are still alive including my blue legged hermit.

Think you are going to need a longer blackout to totally kill it off. but sounds like you're getting closer to winning the battle. it's not a nice one.

I am battling the same. Apart from peroxide, black out and no water changes, some people suggest stopping carbon dosing. I have disconnected my orca biocubes from the air, perhaps don't add those cubes just yet.
