Has anyone ever experienced this, today i woke up to find 9 out of my 13 clownfish dead, I haven't changed their diet (I was still feeding them Baby brine shrimp). The tank is connected to my display tank so I doubt its the water parameters ,Temperature was constant at 25.5. The only thing I noticed today was that there was 2 tiny aptasias growing, could they have stung my fry over night? Im confused can someone please assist or has anyone ever experienced this:( .

Perhaps this?

Thanks @viper357 for the quick response, this could be the reason simply because now if I try to link the information you provided with what has happened, the least active clownfish is still alive as it always stays in the same corner at the bottom . Therefore the other active clowns might have been stung when they went to the surface by the Hydrozoans. I guess the moral of the story is that its not a good idea to connect fry tank to your display tank.
