Hey guys,

I've got a Hailea chiller HS-28A that i've had since the beginning of this year.

Recently it's started giving me issues. The display on the front can read at 40deg but if you feel the water it'll be ice cold. Any idea as to why this can happen? I've got it set to 27deg so now the bugger never switches off.

I've had to switch it on manually, let it run for a couple hours, then switch it off because the water gets too cold.

Any idea? Also, covered under warranty perhaps as not a year old?

Cheers.

Thanks Willie, so this is a popular problem? The display isn't faulty, I don't think, probably just the thermostat, as you've said.

Google tells me the warranty on Haileas are one year so I shouldn't have a problem getting it fixed.

Your temp prop is faulty not the termostate

Have to wait until the supplier is back from overseas to confirm exactly what the problem is, thanks @oliver.
