Can anybody please help with a tank repair

Hi Guys

I purchased two BoyU tanks - couriers kindly delivered both cracked on the bottom. Normal glass base with a slight curve in the front. Can someone please direct me to a person who could urgently assist in replacing the glass in the JHB area.

I have a shipment arriving and am relying on at least one of these tanks as a added holding/climatising tank.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

i would not remove the glass, i have the same tank, but based on the crack i would sandwich the glass between to thicker pieces, there is room for 8mm glass.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the reply. The one tank is completely shattered from the one corner in various directions. The other I have yet to see as the couriers thought they could try and fix it and now informed me that nobody is willing to assist.

Should I count my losses and buy Yet another tank or has anybody ever been able to repair a Boyu HX- 800 safely
