Best way to remove coralline algae of glass

Hey reefers

My buddy recently purchased a tank, but there is so much of coralline algae on the glass that has been dried up. He has tried scraping it of and soaked it with alot of vinegar but no luck. Any suggestions on what he can use?

not to sure, id say a blade and vinigar but you tried that...

i used a normal clothes steamer, but dont concentrate on an area for too long as the heat of the steam is substaintial

Have you tried minora blades,just make sure you go up and down and not sideways.or stanley knife blade. they better.
