The multipurpose Bashea Media Chamber has received some refinements recently. After being on the market for seven years, the company added a few updates we have seen in its other products recently to make it easier to maintain while improving performance.

Bashsea is using CNC machining on its base and top flange and have added a top plate cut with a laser featuring the company’s signature blade design making it quite easy to remove the top with one hand and get into the main chamber.

The laser cutting is extended into the the top and bottom stop plate featuring Bashea’s new spin design. This allows water to easily pass through and eliminate water channeling. An additional benefit is maximizing the surface area to reduce clogging and time between routine maintenance.

One nice touch is using the laser to cut angles and grooves into the locking nut to allow you to easily remove all the components for maintenance and cleaning, especially when your hats are wet. Another nice feature is the fact that Bashsea anneals each of their reactors for 48 hours in their oven to provide more strength and durability.

The Bashsea Media Chamber comes in four sizes — 4 in. and 6 in. diameter reactors with a 12 in. height, for tanks up to 150 gallons and 275 respectively and 4 in. and 6 in. diameter reactors with a an 18 in. height for tanks up to 225 gallons and over 400 gallons respectively.
