Reef-A-Palooza Orlando takes place this month on April 23 & 24 2016 at the Caribe Royal All Suites & Convention Hotel. This marks the 3rd year the show takes place in Orlando Florida and the 1st year at its new home at the Caribe Royale.

It almost seems too good to be true when you combine one of the largest saltwater trade show and place it in one of the most popular tourist destination in the world Orlando Florida. But oh yes it is very true and in only 2 weeks not only could you find yourself immersed in your hobby with amazing livestock/ educational seminars/ and the latest and greatest products from our industry leading manufactures.

But upon exiting the doors of the show you literally have the entire world is at your feet. Orlando is home to more than a dozen theme parks.

Clockwise from top left, Fun Spot, Orlando Eye, Legoland, Old Town, Gatorland, Sea Life Orlando

Walt Disney World, comprised of 4 parks, including Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and 2 water parks. Another major player, Universal Orlando, offers 2 parks: Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter straddling both. Got Scuba? Florida does, and if scuba diving is your thing from freshwater to saltwater, from cave diving to drift diving and with more shipwrecks than many entire countries, the state of Florida, from a diver’s perspective, may just have it all. On the Gulf Coast, along Florida’s western shore, there are beautiful coastal islands, warm waters and a subtropical climate. With artificial reefs, natural dive sites teeming with tropical marine life and wreck dives, it’s a desirable dive spot.

Crystal River, about 70 miles north of Tampa, has both salt and freshwater springs that are known for manatees and it’s the only place in the United States where you can snorkel with these remarkable creatures. Southeast Florida has some of the largest artificial reefs in the country and many of Palm Beach and Broward County’s 60 wrecks are perfect for new divers.

The Florida Keys are internationally renowned and are simply breathtaking, they are ideal for all types of divers who will love the living tropical coral reefs and the area’s shipwrecks.
