So middle of this year be bought another house and instead of moving my complete tank and all livestock I decided to make most of the opportunity and upgrade my tank. I used all of the equipment of my old setup.

Tank specifications
2000mm long X 1100mm front to back X 670mm deep
Sides are 12mm with a 30mm base. Top is eurobraced which is 150mm wide and 30mm thick.
+-1500mm long skinny overflow with 2 skinny returns on the back panel. Front and sides are starfire glass.

Filtration
Sump at this stage is from my previous setup with a slight mod for 2 filter socks. Sump is 1200 X 400 X 400.
Skimmer is an internal Reef Octopus Bubble blaster 2000 which is rated for half of the new tank volume.
Running ORCA biocubes
Tank only has around 60kg of liverock.

Lighting
Lighting is 3 Vertex Illumina LED units which was used on my previous setup. 1 X 1500mm unit at the back and 2 X 300mm units on the front towards the sides.

Flow
Using a Jeboa DC12000 as return pump and internal flow is 2 X tunze 6105, a 6095 and a 6055 on a 7096 controller.

Other equipment
1 X 300W Jager heater.
A profilux standalone quad doser to dose my DIY alk, Ca and Mg.
Battery backup consisting of a 600W pure sine inverter and a 102Ah deep cycle battery all connected to a GSM commander for notifications.

Hopefully over the December holidays I will be moving all the filtration to the garage behind the tank. I was lucky enough to get a big filtration setup from @red pepper. I just made the sump section wider and the system now comprises of a 1500 X 600 X 380 sump, a 740 X 800 X 380 refugium and a 760 X 800 X 380 RO topup tank all on the same stand which is 3000 X 800.
I will also be changing the skimmer to a Reef Octopus Bubble blaster 8000 external skimmer but might run it in the sump so that I can use the refugium for its intended purpose or as a frag tank.

Tank was built by a non sponsor. Really impressed with the workmanship.

nice size upgrade. Tank and SKIMMER

Whats in the ice cream tubs?

ooooohhh our tanks are going to be so simular in size practically twins born a few centimeters apart.. good luck with another great tank. looking forward to seeing this one blossom as the last one did!

What size and thickness/ width did you go with to get away from having to use center braces. Im looking at going 15mm

Thanks all. Tank still has a long way to go to compare to the old one but the old tank did take over 2 years before it looked like something decent. @leslie hempel, sides are 12mm, eurobracing is 150mm wide and 30mm thick.
@Elize The fish pics were taken with a Canon 7D and EF24-105 F4 lens. All other pics are Iphone pics.
