A bit about the salt:

Blue Treasure SPS Sea Salt is further purified based on Blue Treasure Reef Sea Salt. The new formula of Blue Treasure SPS Sea Salt is specialize developed for the growth and breed of Small Polyp Stony SPS Coral Reefs.

Blue Treasure Reef Salt is specially formulated with SPS required levels of calcium(Ca), magnesium(Mg), strontium(Sr) and other essential trace elements of natural sea water. Also, more Ca, Mg, K and other trace minerals are supplemented so that you keep enough essential elements for all your species in your aquaria. This gives you an added advantage for maintaining the correct ionic balance in your aquarium for the most demanding of coral species you want to keep.

SPS Reef Salt is our Premium Salt and suitable for all other inhabitants of your reef.

The raw materials of SPS Sea Salt are selected from pure, food grade and contain all kinds of trace elements which found in nature seawater, as well as some other special vitamins and protective colloids. The sodium chloride(NaCl)of Blue Treasure Salt is purified from pure, non-pollution underground brine.
Underground brine sources are very rare in the world, there are only Bohai Bay and Huanghai Bay rich in this type of underground brine. In addition to this, the Blue Treasure Sea Salt gets its formula after many experts have researched at the Ocean University of China, since 1996. Blue Treasure Sea Salt makes use of the good natural sources and scientific research conditions to offer the best quality sea salt.

20kg bucket makes 590L @35ppt, 6.7kg bags makes 190L at 35ppt

When talking aquaculture parameters like Ca, Mg, Stron, etc are not crucial, so for eg if you are culturing phtyo and zoo, Ca and Mg is not an issue, hence this option is a much cheaper option. Aquaculture salt is not recomended for any normal tank that the we are running, but would be recommend to a farm culturing abalone ect

Aquaculture salt does not include the correct amounts of cal, mg , alk Etc. If I'm inderstanding correctly

Put it this way you as the 'normal' aquarist will never be using the aquaculture salt, however the aquarium breeding cuttle fish could have a requirement, hope it makes it clearer.
