Although we are approached daily by companies we ONLY peruse any products that fit our very strict evaluation criteria.

This specific unit does capture our attention, with full spectrum, 40W center LED, 3W clusters and with a coverage of 60x60x70cm, this is a unit that we will definitely be putting though its paces.

Comes fully controllable and can be fully customized.

Pricing not yet available but will be very well priced we have the test units arriving next week.

3 Color Channels independently controllable:

AquaSpecial Channel - 410nm - 705nm (14000K) - 0-45W
BluePlus Channel - 415nm - 505nm - 0-13W
PurplePlus Channel - 380nm - 470nm - 0-13W

Nice Andre, looks great..

@Visser, not sure of pricing yet, I still want to evaluate their performance, build quality ect. Only once they get my stamp of apporoval, we will cost up accordingly.

To illuminate a cube for SPS you would only need 1 x 85W, measuring 35cmx25cm, to cover a 60x60x60 cube.

Any the potential pricing might shock you :)

Test units arrive next week.

I was just about to ask if you were going to get the 85W...I see on there Site that The G3 Smart Space Station..the 85W is 220*x220*x70...that would be perfect in my Nano..You first getting the 170W then later getting the others...?

@Visser i'm thinking more shocked because of how cheap it will be. @Andre@ReefAquatics will it be a price competitor with the Pharos?

Yes that's the package size, when it lands I will have a play, but again going into the lid of a TL-450 I do highly doubt it :-(
You could be right..:(..the thickness could cause a bit of a problem and even if I remove the Backsplash, the Unit will be to close to the surface, which inturn adds a whole lot of new problems..:(

very interesting indeed. i was so keen on the pharos but now with these units i might wait a bit and cmpare the price

lights are looking very good

Hi Andre

how many would i need to light a 2m by 65cm high by 60cm wide..do they come with the controllers?

I know you have a FOWL system ? Can you confirm ? Yes they do come with a controller as an optional extra, allows to control the 3 channels separately and independently set them in your Sunset/Sunrise profiles.
