Urgent help needed Clown Fish with fungus

Hey guys two of my clowns had a little dispute, but they seemed to have gone at it a little too hard, i think they have developed a fungal infection. Its a white cotton like growth near their mouths and sores on the one fish.

The problem I have is I'm botswana and the lfs here only has daro aqua tonic and daro anti fungus, i would just like to know if these are safe to use on marines. if they are I'll setup two little tanks to nurse the fishy's back to health.

The daro anti fungus should be ok, as long as you treat them in a seperate quarantine tank. If i remember correctly from my freshwater days, it is an antibacterial treatment... Should work, as long as you keep to the dosing prescription (preferably start with less)

Awesome thank you, was just scared it would not be good for them since its a freshwater treatment. Living in the desert has its downfalls
 
Perhaps you should just wait for some second opinions as well before you use it manie, its been a long time since ive last treated a sick fish (8years to be precise)
Im sure it would be ok on clowns.
Perhaps you should also consider doing a nice big waterchange as well. Clowns dont normally get diseases unless the water quality is a bit down... My clowns have really taken a lot of beatings (not intentionally) over the last 2years, & have never had any diseases!
 
there is another product you could try and find called heal-all i have had really good results even treating W/S
 
Guys, just a quick question. Must the quarantine tank a skimmer running as well?, or will a cannister or hob filter be sufficient?
 
i keep my skimmer on becuse you still feeding all be it not as much, but alot of people recon turn it off if you dosing meds
 
Thanks for all the info guys, i wasn't sure if the meds are invert safe so i took a 2l measuring jug dosed it and used an air stone just for now will start building a hospital tank.

Would the aqua tonic be safe to add to the main tank?

Unfortunatly the one clown didn't make it, the other one is looking alot better already. Any ideas on how long they should stay in the hospital?
