It's only the second day of owning my marine tank. I bought a white with purple tips, sebae anemone. The guy at Northlands pets said it was a good one for my two clowns and that I don't need to feed it and that it is absolutely safe for all my fish and corals.

However, when I came home and read up on it, I found that it is in fact, really high maintenance and not safe for other fish.

Please advise.

Thanks

A 2 day old tank with a nemmie, that won't last a few days, it could, I would take it back for a refund and did you mention to them it was a 2 day old tank? If you did I would change my petshop

I agree @dallasg

There's a thread posted in the last week or 2 about local fish shops (lfs) doing the right thing , asking 2 or 3 questions before selling you just anything . I fell into the same trap when I first set up my system . Do you know somebody who could babysit your nenny for a while , atleast until yout tank settles and completes cycling

Is it an established tank you bought from somebody else?
What is the water parameters after the move?

You first need to know how to keep a tank stable, before moving on to the more challenging species.
