Are we talking about the strip lights?

At 5 watts per meter you are not going to come close to the light needed to keep corals plus i gaurantee the LED'S used are very low quality, Any LED below 3 watts in general is low quality and not good enough for reef tanks.

thirteen watts per meter with a 50/50 chip these are cree

can you post the specs, i am interested to see them and a pic

I swear if one more person posts that site for leds I'm going to lose it.

First off kelvin rating is just the colour temp. that is all!!! Yes, corals grow at certain temps. But these temps need to be produced at a certain intensity, normally measured in lunems. Wheb this number is not available we look at the watts as an indication of how strong the output may be.

The strips they sell are the correct colour temp but not strong in output. So they'll let your corals look good but THEY WILL NOT GROW THEM. Period.

having spoken to the wholesaler , they will make smaller units up for me cos ive been doing other business with them for just over five years albeit small
