Hey all please help....I bought a Regal Tang today and my Bicolor angel is attacking him all the time.

Is it because of the similar colours of these fish?
Will it wear off at a later stage?
I do have a lot of rock and hiding places in my tank, the Regal also has white spot which I didn't notice at the time I bought him.

Take the bicolour out and sump him for a few days, otherwise the regal will keep on stressing and get white spot.

Yes:iagree: with Tobes take him out and put him in the sump this will help your regal to established him self and get rid of the white spot. I personally will first take out the regal and quarantine him. Treating him with Cuprazin then I will do the change.

Yes itll work keeping them apart just dont add the medicine in your main tank it has to be a seperate tank dude. Once you have seperated them the spots should clear, they tend to get spots when they stress. Try it first before you chuck him in another tank with medicine though. Ive had my regal for 12 month now and still gets spots when it catches a fright.

Thanks for all the replies......I'll try to catch him. It's going to keep me busy for a long time.I don't know how I'm going to get him with all the live rock in my tank!!!!!

The bicolor looks to be less aggressive today.
