A mate of mine bought this anemone without doing any research on it. Atfer 2 weeks , he researched it and realised that they need strong lighting. He has 4 T5s in a tank 450mm deep. anyways he sold it to and me should have better but decided that id give it a chance since i have 4xT5s with reflectors and a 150w metal halide. The anemone is directly under the halide and have 2 occelaris hosting in it.

question is this , its "mouth" is open quite big ??? why is this ??? sorry no chance of pics ....
 
if the mouth is wide open, it's usually a sign of the animal dying, they need good water flow, strong lights and excellent water quality
 
i thought so ...... should i take it out before it contaminates my tank ???? or give it some time ??? been there 2 days now ....
 
give little more time, up the water flow and lights, but if not better tomorrow you will have to decide. once it starts dying, it's very hard to get out, slime through the whole tank, very messy
 
now im getting scared , its has gud lighting , gud flow , maybe it was already on its way out when i got it ...... :(
