Adee one thing that is talked very little on this forum is the bailing method. You might like to elaborate on your experiences of the system on another thread some.
For now i am sure you will get a flood of questions so enjoy. |

Then, once you find that thing that works, don't f--- with it!!!"

Thanks for the comments guys.
Will post more pics, sorry time is not at my side at the moment. I will start a separate thread on the scrubbers. I have 2 versions that I have built, my latest, I'm sure is a one of a kind. |

Hi Trad...Funny u ask that....I cured the lot then swopped out 30% of it from my DT.
My plans to extend the wendyhouse into a sunlight "outside" set-up did not materilise, simply don't have the time. I then took a complete reverse turn and removed about 60kilo's out of the display tank and thinned things out considerably. So most of your rock never made it into my tank, plus the rock from my set-up. I have sold the lot, being collected on the weekend. Somehow I get the feeling I'm going to wish I had not sold it all...

Correct, the "balling method" community is very small, very cost effective in my opinion, especially when my dailly Ca consumption is 16ppm and I lose Alk at a rate of 1.8dKh a day. There are some great articles on the overseas forums around this. Here is a start: An Improved Do-it-Yourself Two-Part Calcium and Alkalinity Supplement System by Randy Holmes-Farley - Reefkeeping.com |
