its all about exhaustible recources. But i do get what you saying dallas, LOL i did the exact same thing with the koi filter which in effect is a tower filled with bio balls!!! but i still use the same thing as then just the lights change.
 
i still use bioballs in my SPS tank

but who told the livestock they need LEDS :p
 
One person who has been there long enough and believes in simplicity, not over complicating things and not stressing over every little thingg that changes is @Paul B . Maybe have a pic or two of the good old days when things were'nt to complicated. I agree with Riaan that we tend to over analyse and over complicate things these days, so instead of being a hobby or a means of relaxing we have just created another stressful chore to our already busy daily schedule.
