My Nano Tank

I hope you come right with that.
Water and plugs don't mix well, I managed to create a siphon from my skimmer the other day when I was cleaning my tank, what a mess and all over the plugs.:blush:

hehehe thanks Geoff. Yeah well it happens. I think that the reactors filled with water is just a little too heavy for the design as is. nothing major but i will just change the design slightly. Busy trying my hand at sketchup LOL
 
I was at builders warehouse the other day and I was surprised to see they have got that water piping, not sure about the fittings. It was by the pets/fish section.

Thanks Mc. I'll check it out today. Will order the glass tomorrow but I can get some diversion to the tank tonight it will be good LOL but I doubt it though.
 
Proposed first stage in place of reactor tubes

This is a plan for the stage that runs through the filter media - matrix, carbon etc. All media is in filter socks...

If you have a loot at previous pics of the sump this will make sense. The water will run into the first stage and then weave through. Exit is into the 1st DSB compartment to agitate the surface as it seems to be a stagnant area with flow beneath the surface.

I am stoked. Picked up my hydor smartwave and 2 x 2800 pumps from tsr today. Yeah baby yeah

Thanks Sean will keep that in mind, but I stopped drinking a few years back so it will have to be a coffee.:)

Lol 100% I don't normally drink just on the odd occasion. Coffee will work :)wife can't wait for fish kids neither
 
Must say with the wave makers running most of the day a lot of "stuff" has lifted from around the tank. Catchment with filter pads and sock. This is good and circulation looks good in corners and back of tank
 
How are you finding the controller and the wavemakers working?
I would really like to see how these korilias work.

I am really impressed so far and set to 15 min rotation. With the sediment it churned up i checked the circulation - looks good so far.

Aiptasia looks like it's gone. Couldn't get to the mouth so i plastered them hahaha :kangakiller:

I will keep an eye! Will try take some shots tonight and also picking up some chaeto tonight thanks @Visser :)
