Talking New to MASA
Hi guys

Iv only recently joined Masa, but I have already picked up a few things.
I'm FINALLY in the process of setting up my first marine tank.

Starting out with just a standard 3ft with a 2ft sump,
I will be using a reef octopus reactor with bio pellets, with some live rock in the sump and just a Jebo skimmer for now. .
Dual odysea T5 lighting (might be getting the quad instead but since its a shallow tank it should be fine for now and I don't plan to keep the 'harder' corals anyway.)
Aragonite as the substrate to help keep the calcium where it should be.

I'll start uploading pics up as soon as I get the tank

Welcome If you ever decide to keep SPS later on, then the lighting can always be adjusted! Always best to take it slow though

Thanks guys. Do you think just a dual T5 lighting unit will be okay for now to keep most corals excluding SPS?
