What do you want to test and why?
For parameters which you will be monitoring in the long run, don't be shy to spend. Ascertain what direction you want your tank to go, and only buy kits for what you really need to test for. Hobby test kits reliable? Mostly not. sorry. mostly unreliable for accuracy, but when its consistent in its inaccuracy, okey to establish and maintain some sense of stability. For pH, definitely wort a pH meter, not a test kit.For ammonia, get one of those eachem monitors which stick on glass. Relatively accurate and reliable in their relative accuracy, for nitrate and nitrite, consider seachem, what I like is that it comes with a reference sample. For alk, seachem or salifert. For po4, don't waste money on anything but the best, think Hach, deltec, or rather just get a photometer, but that's a arm leg and another limb. From personal experience, I would not recommend Sera, red sea, tetra. Have no experience with Elos __________________ Throughout history it has been the inaction of those who could have acted,
