Here's my Inverter setup. With pics!

hI MATT we need some info from you regarding your little battery back up please let us know more details

Hi guys, sorry didn't reply earlier. I will give you the number for my contact asap. Just need to find her work numer! ;)

Hi I need a setup exactly like yours ASAP, how and where????

Eish sorry guys! Didn't see all these posts. I will PM you with her details so you can get her to make up one for you.

Hi Matt

I have an inverter that I no longer use in the 4x4. I also have a spare jell bat from a security system so I hoked them up and they work as expected. Thanks for the inspiration :)

I need to get that 220volt relay thingy but was wondering how this is all wired into your system. Lets just look at return pump, is it powered by 220 and also somehow plugged into you little inverter setup so that when power goes out the inverter kicks is. Or do you have a separate pump on each system.

Thanks,

Ross

Matt is overseas, but it is as simple as all tank hardware is connected to the invertor and the invertor to your 220 plug.

Internally it changes over to the battery supply when no 220V is flowing. The invertor converts 12V to 220V.

When 220V is running the battery is recharged.

Hi Warr

Thanks for that. I had a feeling it would be something like that (PC UPS style) but wanted to make sure. Electrics and salt water kind of scare me.

Got to get my relay now. Power was out 11 hours yesterday and 3 hours this morning and starting the genny at 3am will not go down well with the neighbors.

tagging along on this one...andreas also interested on a reasonable solution to power shortages ????

PM me we manufacture these

pm me with what wattage u want to run and i will give u a product list to suit

I have decided to buy a good quality bilge pump and to run it directly off my deep cycle battery when there is a power failure. True sine inverters are just to expensive IMO.

Can anyone recommend a bilge pump make (Sean K??)and what relay do I need to buy that will allow the current to flow between the battery and bilge pump if a power outage does occur? Thanks:)

Ask Jacquesb, he is running a 12v bilge pump.
