Sewerage water is a correct assumption. Certain stages of water treatment in sewerage water will generate HUGE amounts of hydrogen sulphide which is what you probably having if I see how you stored them. I would also assume that there is some ammonia with that as well, but, the biggest one would...
Theoretically no! unlike pellets that will erode due to the micro-abrasion caused in the reactors, Nitra-Guard only erodes with bacterial action and for that you will need NO3. However, installing too much is simply a waste of money. With any problem, including NO3, economics must be considered...
@carlosdeandrade You will have that tank looking great in no time at all. You have some of the best layouts I have seen and look forward to seeing the tank in action. Just to give a hand back up again, come around and collect some cubes and some Phospha-Guard GFH...compliments of OrcaLabs for...
Are you sure millions watched it? Maybe a handful of guys that watched it over and over...I personally gave that girl 100 US Dollars....I mean 100 hits on her Youtube hit counter
Good to hear all is going well so far @cknipe. Keep us posted and I again wish to thank everyone for the overwhelming support. So....and I am probably going to get banned for this! But, I decided to send something that should brighten everyone's day up.......enjoy!!!!
Hi Chris, glad to hear you were able to get some, keep us up to date with your progress. Putting them in a skimmer is a definate no! They churn too much and start to break apart. Keep them in the bag "Bomb" style with airstone in the middle. Almost done with AIR-STRIKE and POD
Do not add to skimmer. It causes the cubes to tumble which in turn causes them to break up. Once this happens, the cubes do not work. AIR-STRIKE reactors for cubes will be out soon
Will you keep your old design, rock layout etc...what will be different this time? and the most important question of all...Do I get invited again to dinner to see the tank? I love your old ladies chow...the best!
