Attention
Hi all, this is Johan's brother Sten, our family dearly appreciates all your condolences and appreciate the support from MASA.
This now leads me to another question that I have to ask, we have not yet decided what we will be doing with Johan's tank, but we have decided for now to...
Im enjoying the Goby more as each day goes by it has a great personality and is agro as hell. and its surprising how fast a tank can fill up with coral
the plan is to get some more plating corals that are going to be on the sand, get some ricordias for the front left, long tentacle plates at...
Hey dude
is it possible i can pick up the above corals tonight? i prob wont be there before six tho but will be there before half past six?
you can pm me if you have any other idea's. Do you have any frogspawn or hammer coral left?
contact arrow altech distribution for LED's its much much cheaper. they are the cree dealers in south africa.
Also with 60 degree lenses and 24 Led's you are looking at an 150 watt MH, they will work well for what you are planning.
let me know if you need any help
Its still very young and is supposed to get it adult colors probably in the next six months or so depending on food etc.
there is much more sand, my pumps just emptied that corner, the rest of the sandbed is about 3 - 5cm deep
So the next part of the setup is too get my skimmer up and running, a biopellet reactor, as well as about 20 more KG of live rock. currently there is about 15KG in the tank.
hopefully my vortech will be fixed once i get the right parts for it. also getting some nice hammer corals next week plus...
well the normal firefish are apparantly not so keen on schooling as the purple firefish, the purple firefish apparatnly get along better and fight less, im going to try four in my reef but i have a smaller nano i can transfer two too if needed.
When i said these wont work i only went with the specs. Sure they might have people with SPS tanks using these but maybe its just a moonlight?:whistling:
Dont mean to offend, but LED's are the only thing in reefkeeping i am really good at so yeah.
I got a really Mini green banded goby today, it is smaller than my little toe, and got 4 nesarius snails or whatever you call the snails that go in the sand. I wanted to get plate corals as well but i decided i need to sort out my complete sump before i go that far.
well find out exactly what LED's they use in the strips and i can give you some advice, my thoughts though is that the metal halide will overpower these LED's very easily
Anybody have one of these? I have posted in the sponsor forum and havnt gotten a reply yet, also scott seems to be missing in action and my tank has been running without a skimmer for a long while now.
Please anybody help
