Hi

Can I please have some opinions on what you guys do routinely before and in your QT's please. Is there a dipping or prophylactic treatment regime anyone uses? Please be specific wrt medicine names and experiences with it.

Thanks

At the TOA, I have recently been using a mix of Lugol's, CoralRX and Medicoral for coral dipping with great success against flatworms.

I am soon to set-up a whole quarantine system for new corals before they get to exhibit.

any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated, also don't mean to hi-jack thread :)

I use the bucket method. I use paraguard at the same time. The fish then go into in holding tank for a month or until I feel it is ready for the main display

Where do you get the Lugols and at what concentration do you use it?

I observe fish for 2 months in QT and take action if I see any signs of disease. I have Sera Costapur (Formaline and Malachite Green), PraziPro (Praziquantel) and Seachem Cupramine (copper) on standby, this should be able to treat most common diseases (not all together though).

@BarryG

to be honest i'm not sure but Perkys will be able to get
