Just the other day one of the sponsers introduced a new coral dipping product to kill pets before introducing it and I cannot find it again. Anyone know what I am talking about?
Otherwise what is a good product for this? Coral RX?

Ok, so just wanting to give you guys an update on my recent experience with 2 little fishies - revive.
Now as per my post above - I love brigtwells MediCoral (as it has never given me hassles, but I was given a half a bottle of revive to try...so here goes...

I have recently been struggling with 3 acros in my tank that have started showing signs of STN...dipped them in MediCoral, but they did not seem to get better... (even though my params are in spec and I have not had any Alk swings etc)

Again, only these 3 acros was showing this...

I tried the revive last week Thursday. The first coral that I dipped was a yellow stag horn - was yellow up to a couple of weeks a go, when it browned out completely (was dis dark brown color)

I popped it in....and almost imediatly, I could see brown chuncks of stuff floating in the water...thought it was flesh peeling off, but on closer inspection...once the brown stuff was gone, I could see the yellow/greem color of the stag again?? (yes, lighter that its origanil color)

After the dip, rinsed in clean tank water, and popped him back on his rock in the tank, and about 4 hours later...polyps extending....and about a week now, and his color is almost completely back!

So, now im no saying Revive is a mirracle cure or anything, but it certanly helped remove what ever this brown film was (bacterial?)

I read on the label that Revive is "wash" for corals...it defenantly washed this coral!

I am yet to try it on a coral that has parasites....so if any PE reefer has a parasite invested coral...let me know...

Cheers

Good to know Js , I also opened one and just buy the sent of it , I would say its the old product Coral RX , that we used and loved - seems to be repacked into this bottle - but could be wrong.

Here's a pic for those who want to recognise it in there LFS

Price could vary from R170 - R190 depending on where you buy.
