Anybody tried these out yet?

I picked mine up today, but I think the controller is faulty??? i have the Innovation SR60 tank (220LT) and even when I set this pump to it's lowest setting, I blast the coral right off the rocks and have this hectic flow running through the tank.

I saw the unit demo in my local store and was seriously impressed. The unit in the store was in a very big tank, but you could dial the power right down and just have a gentle current flow...........same as on youtube. My unit cannot seem to do this, but I suspect that the controller is faulty as I cannot get it to pulse. I know how to set this as I did it in the store today on their demo unit......mine does not let me set the pulse time, only the power. At only 1 blue light, the unit flow topples my corals.:eek:

Will take the unit back tomorrow and hopefully they can sort it out for me. I really like the unit as it is nice and compact and I can run just one unit in my tank. If the unit proves to be too powerful, then I will probably wait for the 130 model to arrive.

I just think its too big for your tank

I just tried this out again........I think I agree with you that the pump is too powerful for my tank. My corals are mainly lps as I like the movement the give. I think if my tank was sps then this pump could be OK.

I looked up the specs on the web and they say this pump is for tanks 50 - 100 gal. My tank is a 60 gal lps setup. I think I will be waiting for the smaller model to come out.

This pump is nice and compact and is not obtrusive in the tank at all.
