After setting up a second tank within 2 weeks from getting the TL550 ..I needed a Jump screen for my 1.2m tank.

Found the net locally...but we're not willing to pay over 2k to have a 1.2m x 600mm jump screen made up .
So I went the diy route.
Got some Baby H aliminium extrusion . Mitered the ends and braized the ends together to.make up the frame.
Fitted the net and fitted it to tank .

No more fiddling with clips to loosen to feed or to move things around

Thats Awesome! Where did you get the raw materials from?
Net was from Mcmerwe R450.00

The Extrusion i bought From Extrusion world Cost was R180

How did you fix the net to the alluminium
Used an H extrusion . The net gets pushed in to the one channel. I kept it in place by pushing it into place with thin coated stainlessteel wire that I had
