Hi guys
I've noticed that during the past 2 weeks I've got a algae bloom in my tank. Must I worry about these algae in the pictures?
I do a 10% WC every second week, so +- 20L. I dose Special Blend once a week. I add Aquavitro Fuel and Reef Zoo Plankton once a week and then Live Phytoplankton twice a week (All on different days). I think this might be the problem, because it is also "feeding" the algae. BUT I wanted to get my pod population up. I'm thinking of cutting down to only 3 (1 of each product) per week.
All my parameter were fine except the temperature, but with the 4 fans running it comes down to 25 in the evening and cooler day.
NH4 = 0
NO3 = 9
Ca = 480
Alk = 8
Mg = 1500-1550
Salinity = 1.025-1.026
pH = 8.4
Temp = between 25 - 28
I've got a few snails, sand sifting starfish, Blenny and a Regal Tang that eat some of the algae.
What else can I do? Or is there no need to worry?
