I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as, George.
I'm living in Windhoek, Namibia. (Born and bred.)
I'm starting out with a small marine / reef setup in a custom built 66L tank with a custom built 14L sump also custom built.
As I'm typing the tank has not even been filled with water yet, that's how new I am!
I read up a lot, watch videos and try to soak up as much info as I possibly can. I'm a strict DIY'er always trying to save a cent or two where possible.
I'm sure I'll get all the help and advice I possibly need to go further into this hobby.
I have a fair background with freshwater aquatics and I still have a 60L with 3 species of about 200 plus freshwater shrimp. Can't seem to let go of them yet.
Unfortunately the whole of Namibia does not stock live rock currently, so I'm in desperate need of a few kg's for myself and a friend. Can anyone refer me to well respected, trustworthy suppliers in either Cape Town or Johannesburg from which I can buy some properly cured live rock and a few hardware items, please?
