RoboSnail automatic glass/acrylic cleaner from AquaGenesis

not for sale yet

They only taking pre-orders

I don't like it. Reason being that it may pick up sand at the bottom just like a normal manual glass cleaner and scratch your glass while you watch the rugby :whistling:
If I do it myself, I know where to stop :)

if you pay me enough, Ill be your robo snail :whistling:

Just found out that this is now available in South Africa...
Apparently, the distributor is in Cape Town???

Saw the video on youtube....Looks like an awesome thing to have...

nice gadget..we all did the manual thing with the magnet cleaners...but honestly i find that the blade scrubber works better...i am just asking wont this end up like the magnet scrubber not doing a too good of a cleaning as well..?

R3600 each.

PM me i will send you his number. only a handful left

Sounds like the perfect gadget for incredibly lazy people. Seriously doubt it's gonna remove coralline. It's probably going to pick up sand and scratch the glass, or just leave a strip of algae along the bottom.

I stumbled upon this clever gadget talk about automating. I like this gadget & if any of the sponsors stock this please let us know?

RoboSnail automatic glass/acrylic cleaner from AquaGenesis | reef tools

I covered this article about a year ago....
At this stage they are taking pre-orders from customers before selling to the retail shops. But it is limited to tanks with a max thickness of 10mm glass.

Eish!!! Leave it rather.. I would need 3 of them, one for each glass pane...

I cant justify buying this. i just know the guy who is selling them. Don't think he is making profit either.
It's just obsenely expensive for something to clean a glass. It take me 5 min every 10 days. for 3 panes.
And that's 2m x 600mm x 600mm.

Better way to do this is reduce phosphates SAVe the RRRRAndDela's :)

Stick the outside piece of your magnet to a radio controlled toy and put the other part inside. The magnets keep the little car suspended and the rubber wheels move it around. AND you have a new toy to play with(yup i know i think too much)
